Terms of Use
The rules for using playsus.app: a free game with points only, playing fair, names in friends cases, what's ours, and the legal parts.

These terms apply to playsus.app and the game SUS, made and published by PVV Media Technologies, 102 N 2nd Avenue E, Newton, IA 50208, United States (“we” or “us”). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
A free game
SUS is free to play. There are no prizes and no money involved. The points you score are just points, for fun and for comparing with friends: they have no cash value and can’t be exchanged for anything.
Play fair
SUS works because everyone plays the same case the same way. So please don’t:
- use bots, scripts or any other kind of automated play;
- scrape the site or the game;
- try to get a case’s answers from the game’s server in any way other than by playing it.
We may block requests that look like any of these.
Friends cases
The name you type in a friends case must not be offensive, and it must not impersonate anyone. We may remove any friends case, for example one that breaks these terms.
What’s ours, and what’s yours
The game, its cases, pictures and text are © PVV Media Technologies. You’re welcome to talk about a case, quote a hint or two, link to any page, and use the word pairs from our guides at your own parties. Please don’t republish cases, word lists or pages in bulk; our pictures and the results table may be used as the next section says.
Your share cards are yours to share. Post them anywhere you like.
Using our pictures and tables
You may use the pictures we draw for the game, its guides and its case files, and the table of every closed case’s results with its CSV file, free of charge: on your own website, in a document or in print. Please use a picture unchanged. You may use the table whole or in part, with its figures as we publish them. Either way, credit SUS with a link to the page the picture or table comes from. This does not cover our name and logo; everything else on the site follows the rule above.
No warranty
SUS is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise that the site will always be available or free of mistakes, or that your streak and scores will always be kept: they live in your browser, and clearing its data deletes them. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind about the site or the game.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, PVV Media Technologies is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or the game, including a lost streak or score. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States. Any dispute about them or the site will be decided by the courts of Jasper County, Iowa.
Privacy
What the site keeps, and for how long, is in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
